Drawing Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

This position designs, models, and details capital equipment layouts for the concrete products industry.

• 1.Works with the field sales team on capital equipment requests.
• 2.Utilizes Solid Works/CAD systems for model creation, design, drafting, and detailing of all Besser products.
• 3.Originates, develops, and updates plant layouts, sales drawings, and foundation, installation and erection drawings for products to meet defined company or customer requirements.
• 4.Completes required documentation for drawing revisions and releases.
• 5.Collaborates with sales and service representatives in the field to ensure all equipment specifications are accurate.
• 6.Assists with incoming customer calls.
• 7.Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

Associates degree in CAD, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

Work experience in drafting, design and Solid Works/CAD.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of
employees, management, and customers. Familiarity of a variety of standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works applications.

Requirements:
Must be willing to travel.
