KTM, Inc. is seeking applicants for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk position. While prior experience in shipping and receiving is helpful, it is not necessary for success  prioritize a positive attitude, the willingness and ability to learn, and a no-drama personality that fits in with our team. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Starting wages can rise quickly for those who show great skill and effort.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

Build shipping skids.

Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Maintain a clean, and neat work area.

Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sort and stock receivables.

Provide additional backup support for manufacturing.

Operate a forklift to move and organize products and materials.

Skills Needed:

Positive attitude.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Read and understand blueprints.

Problem solving skills are essential.

Effective communication.

Ability to work well with others and independently.

Previous forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Knowledge

Required:

Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes.

Familiarity with shipping regulations and documentation requirements.

General knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to Implement:

Apply shipping and receiving practices effectively.

Follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
