Accountants One is partnering with a growing consulting firm in Alpharetta that is strategically planning for its future and seeking a long-term team. This company offers stability, professional development, and a strong work-life balance.
The position is on-site from 8:00–5:00 with zero overtime and will work closely with the President and CFO. The role will begin in accounting and expand as the individual learns the business and takes on additional responsibilities. The company will also train this person in sales and use tax.
This is an in-office role located in Alpharetta, near McGinnis Ferry and McFarland Parkway.
This role involves regular interaction with clients, client vendors, and various governmental agencies. It is an excellent opportunity for someone transitioning out of public accounting who is seeking a more balanced work-life environment.
The position includes extensive recovery work, so while strong spreadsheet skills are important, there is also a significant customer service component. You must feel comfortable communicating with clients and spending time on the phone.
The company is open to candidates from a variety of industries—as long as you are eager to learn and committed to building a long-term career. Sales tax experience is a strong plus and will increase the salary range.

Responsibilities- Develop new skills outside of the comfort zone.
- Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
- Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet the firm's/client's expectations.
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
- Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Prefer a B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university, or an Associate's degree
- Proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and the ability to learn proprietary software
