Accounting Manager
High-Growth Healthcare Services Organization
Location:
Alpharetta / Johns Creek Area, Georgia
Compensation: $120,000 - $125,000 + Bonus
A rapidly expanding healthcare services organization is seeking an Accounting Manager to help lead and strengthen its accounting operations during a significant growth phase. The company has completed multiple acquisitions and is continuing to scale aggressively, creating a need for strong operational accounting leadership and infrastructure development.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, improving systems, mentoring staff, and operating in an entrepreneurial, acquisition-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help lead and manage the monthly close process across multiple entities and locations
- Supervise and mentor senior accounting staff
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting deliverables
- Support acquisition integrations and process standardization initiatives
- Assist in building scalable accounting infrastructure and internal controls
- Partner with leadership on reporting, automation, and operational improvements
- Support location-level financial reporting and allocation methodologies
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance initiatives
- 5-15 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong operational accounting and month-end close experience
- Multi-entity and/or multi-site accounting experience required
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required
- Public accounting background is preferred but not mandatory
- CPA is preferred but not required
- Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct or Net Suite preferred
- Strong process improvement and leadership abilities
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Base salary: $120,000 - $125,000+
- Bonus potential estimated at 10-15%
