Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to support the Accounting Supervisor and Manager of Finance & Control. This role is responsible for a wide range of accounting functions and requires strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Manage and control Accounts Payable.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
- Handle Accounts Receivable, including collections.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of cash, intercompany, net debt accounts, and periodic/year‑end accrual accounts.
- Reconcile Accounts Payable, accrued Accounts Payable, WIP account, merchandise‑in‑transit inventory, prepaid assets, and fixed asset accounts.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Handle shipping invoice disputes and ensure proper resolution.
- Prepare, submit, and process sales tax filings and payments.
- Prepare and distribute annual 1099s.
- Prepare and submit Annual and Bi‑Annual Secretary of State filings.
- Prepare and process annual property tax reports.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
