We're partnering with a dynamic, privately-held company on the north side of town that's looking to bring a high-impact Senior Accountant onto their growing team. The client has a track record of promoting from within and is targeting someone interested in long-term growth opportunities.
Responsibilities- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile balance sheet, accrual, and intercompany accounts
- Lead variance analysis for income statement and balance sheet accounts, identifying trends and resolving discrepancies
- Generate and deliver financial reports to support finance and operations decision-making
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls while supporting audits, process improvements, and ERP enhancements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with a large ERP system
- Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills with a demonstrated process improvement mindset
