Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the accounting team with high-volume invoice processing, vendor management, and payment operations.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries.
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including AP accruals and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience processing high-volume invoices.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
- Strong understanding of AP processes, invoice matching, and vendor management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience in a temporary, contract, or project-based accounting role.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
