Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager

Vaco is partnering with a growing, private equity-backed company in the construction services industry to identify a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager who is looking to make a meaningful impact within a rapidly expanding organization.

• Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support audits, strengthen internal controls, and ensure GAAP compliance
• Identify process improvement opportunities and help scale the accounting function
• Mentor junior accounting staff while collaborating across departments

• $100K-$120K base salary + bonus potential
• On-site in Alpharetta (40-45 hour work weeks)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in audit or corporate accounting
• Strong month-end close, financial reporting, and GAAP knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills
• Net Suite experience is a plus
• CPA or CPA-track required
