Summary

Market Source is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who wouldberesponsible for preparing and reviewing financial documents,report sand statements. This role would also oversee all accounting procedures whileadvising ongeneral finance matters.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepare various financial statements and other internal or external financial reports and distribute the monthly financial reporting packages in accordance withcompanypolicy
• Ensure accuracy and legal complianceofreports
• Organize,updateandmaintainthe general ledger including creation of appropriate journal entries
• Research and document accounting activities to ensure compliance with company policy and generally acceptedaccounting principles (GAAP)
• Perform account analysis and/or account reconciliations to ensureaccuratereportingandtimelyidentificationofitemsrequiring further action
• Prepare information in support of annual external audit, including preparation ofauditschedules
• Recommendways to reduce costs and enhancerevenue
• Reconcile and review bank accounts

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Attention todetail
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountingrequired
• At leastoneyear experience in accounting or a related field preferred;recent college graduateswill be considered
• Four (4) in-office workdays per week and theoptionto work remote OR in officeon fifth (5th) day
