Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of internal and external invoices, company credit card transactions, and payments to contractors and vendors.

• Manage credit card and transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Process invoices and payments.
• Process and verify accuracy of client billing for all transactions.
• Keep accounts accurate and current.
• Process expense reports for internal employees.
• Update and verify contractor information in the accounting system, including direct deposit information and W9.
• Research, track, and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with management, team members, and other teams.

• Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures, including expense coding.
• Basic knowledge of office applications and accounting software.
• Knowledge of 1099 reporting.
• 1–2 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Staffing agency experience preferred.
• Workday experience helpful.
