The Senior Accountant will manage general ledger accuracy, job cost accounting, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with GAAP and industry standards. The role requires overseeing subcontractor compliance, lien waivers, and accounts payable/receivable while providing financial insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities include overseeing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance; managing job cost accounting and tracking project profitability; preparing and reviewing financial reports, including income statements and cash flow statements; ensuring subcontractors meet compliance requirements and managing lien waivers; working closely with project managers on subcontractor costs and contract compliance; monitoring cash flow, forecasting, and financial planning; and preparing financial reports for senior management and ownership.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required); 5+ years of construction industry accounting experience; strong understanding of job cost accounting, subcontractor compliance, and lien waiver processes; proficiency in construction accounting software; excellent analytical skills and attention to financial accuracy; and knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
