Atrium is partnering with a leading manufacturing organization to hire a Cost Accounting Manager, Inventory Control
. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys improving processes, partnering with operations, and using data to drive better business decisions.
You'll lead inventory control initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations while working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Cost Accounting to improve inventory accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and support financial reporting.
What You'll Do- Lead inventory control and governance across manufacturing and distribution operations
- Improve inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Develop inventory reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that help leaders make informed business decisions
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Cost Accounting to improve inventory processes and reduce risk
- Support month-end close, inventory valuation, standard costing, and inventory reserve activities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and increase efficiency
- Help enhance ERP and inventory system capabilities while promoting best practices across the organization
- 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory control, manufacturing finance, or supply chain finance
- Manufacturing experience is required
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, and internal controls
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar ERP systems
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to work cross-functional
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
