• Manage purchase orders to ensure they are processed promptly, guaranteeing that ongoing work at various sites continues without interruption.
• Identify, source, and vet new vendors and service providers who comply with Fluence’s quality and compliance standards, ensuring cost competitiveness.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop bid lists for upcoming projects, evaluate vendor proposals, and provide recommendations prior to contract awards.
• Oversee and manage contracts between Fluence and contractors, ensuring all legal and binding documents are executed and maintained appropriately.
• Develop sourcing strategies that facilitate the collection of competitive bids for both preventative and reactive maintenance in order to meet customer contract requirements.
• Monitor and report spend over designated periods, such as quarterly and annual intervals.
• Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies.
• Source and procure equipment and materials as required, including spare and replacement parts.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with both existing service providers and potential new partners.
• Work with stakeholders to develop and implement an efficient process for regional spare parts procurement.

• Experience with SAP software
• Background in supplier sourcing initiatives
• Purchasing experience within the renewables industry or supporting construction procurement
• Contract negotiation experience with service providers
• Approximately 5 years in a purchasing or supply chain role
