Soft Wave TRT is seeking a highly quantitative Product Manager (Marketing) with a consulting mindset to own market evaluation, product definition, and financial modeling for new and existing products. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution, translating ambiguous market signals into data‑backed product and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Market & Opportunity Assessment
- Size and prioritize markets using TAM / SAM / SOM, cohort analysis, and segmentation
- Evaluate competitive landscapes, pricing dynamics, and substitution risk
- Build fact‑based business cases to support product investment decisions
- Product & User Requirements
- Translate customer, clinical, and operational needs into quantified product requirements
- Define value propositions supported by measurable outcomes (clinical, economic, or operational)
- Partner with engineering, clinical, and commercial teams to drive trade‑off decisions using data
- Own product‑level P&Ls, unit economics, and margin analysis
- Build revenue forecasts, adoption curves, and scenario models (base / upside / downside)
- Track post‑launch performance vs. plan and drive corrective action
- Decision Support & Executive Communication
- Produce clear, structured analyses and executive‑ready materials
- Frame recommendations with assumptions, risks, sensitivities, and ROI
- 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy consulting (Bain/McKinsey/BCG), or corporate strategy
- Exceptional quantitative skills:
Excel/Sheets, financial modeling, analytical frameworks - Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive decisions with data
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries preferred
- Hypothesis‑driven, analytical, and commercially minded
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and forcing prioritization
- Thinks like an investor, not a feature owner
- Experience supporting capital equipment, platform‑based products, or clinical technologies
- Experience in a high‑growth, PE‑backed, or scaling organization
- Exposure to reimbursement, clinical outcomes, or provider‑based selling environments
