Principal Product Manager – HCM Strategy, ADP

As part of the Lyric HCM product management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Human Resources solutions that are easy, smart, and human‑centric. We are seeking a strategic and innovative Product Manager to help research market trends, perform gap analysis, identify opportunities, and maintain our competitive advantage. You will expand global capabilities in our end‑to‑end HCM solutions, including HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Time, Leave & Absence, and Benefits.

You will gather localized requirements and ensure compliance with regional standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct market research to identify and prioritize capabilities and features that align with the company's strategic goals and growth potential.
  • Partner with internal teams, including customer success, marketing, product, and sales, to gather feedback and define a product roadmap that aligns with the strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for a global HCM solution that meets diverse regional and local requirements.
  • Actively stay abreast of changes in the HR technology/HR practices landscape and help internal teams understand how changes should impact our product roadmap.
  • Stay updated on global and regional HR regulations, industry standards, and best practices to inform product decisions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure the product remains innovative and competitive in the market.
  • Ensure alignment of the product vision with business goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, industry experts, and research partners to identify specific country‑level requirements for global expansion.
  • Conduct gap analyses to align functionalities with needs.
  • Analyze factors such as market size, customer demand, regional competition, and regulatory complexity to recommend focus areas.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert in prioritization of features and requirements based on impact, feasibility, and market demand.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
  • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on enterprise‑level HCM software solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Human Capital Management systems, including HR, talent, leave, and time‑off functionalities.
  • Strong ability to gather and synthesize requirements from diverse sources, including internal and external stakeholders, regional contacts, and market research.
  • Experience conducting market assessments.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across global teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to balance technical and business considerations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions. The compensation range is $ - $ per year.
