Business Analyst
A Business Analyst (BA) bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions. They analyze operations, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable plans for development teams to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and drive strategic company goals.
Core Responsibilities- Requirement Gathering:
Interview stakeholders, run workshops, and document functional and technical needs. - Process Analysis:
Map out "as-is" workflows and design optimized "to-be" processes to resolve operational bottlenecks. - Data Analysis:
Interpret complex data sets to spot trends, build business cases, and track performance. - Bridging the Gap:
Translate technical jargon for business executives and business needs into user stories or specifications for developers. - Project Oversight:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, assist in project planning, lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage change.
