Senior Portfolio Finance Manager

• Manage and track all commercial aspects of a portfolio of large projects
• Drive accounting compliance and adherence to commercial contract terms
• Execute financial and operational internal controls
• Manage customer contract changes and supplier claims
• Maintain operational excellence across the project portfolio
• Be financially responsible for the largest and most complex projects in the Americas region
• Work with project managers to provide transparency into project performance against budget
• Maintain monthly Estimates at Completion for revenue, cost, and margin
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting guidelines and commercial terms
• Prepare accurate project forecasts incorporating known risks and opportunities
• Execute Order-to-Cash internal controls and peer-review control compliance
• Improve project performance through change orders and supplier claims
• Review, verify, and process project-related transactions such as purchase requisitions and invoices
• Track and mitigate contract penalties, including performance guarantees and liquidated damages for delays
• Organize project reviews throughout each contract lifecycle
• Report non-conformance costs and help identify Solution Groups
• Manage construction subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project delivery timeline and quality
• Understand and manage sales, property, and personal tax requirements
• Mentor new or junior Portfolio Finance Managers
• Continuously improve project onboarding and execution processes
• Interface with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and outside contractors
• Report to the Director, Portfolio Finance Management

• 8-10 years of financially managing large projects, preferably in the energy sector, including engineering, procurement and construction scopes and equipment supply and services agreements
• Advanced understanding of project accounting methods, including POC revenue recognition
• Advanced knowledge of project-related activities and the project lifecycle
• Advanced understanding of commercial contract terms and conditions
• Advanced understanding of project risk management requirements involving insurance, securities, guarantees, liquidated damages, and related areas
• Experience negotiating directly with customers and suppliers
• Experience using SAP, Unifier, Primavera, or similar systems
• Strong background using MS Office software:
  Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting or finance
• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment, without employer sponsorship

Demonstrates advanced project accounting methods and financial management for large projects, with a strong focus on compliance with commercial contract terms and risk management. Proven ability to mentor and improve project execution processes while maintaining operational excellence.
