OSP Construction Field Technicians

We are hiring OSP Construction Field Technicians to support underground wireline fiber construction projects
.

This position focuses on field inspection, quality control, and subcontractor coordination and offers a clear path into supervisory and management roles
.

• Inspect active and completed underground fiber construction sites
• Verify work meets contract, quality, safety, and client standards
• Read and interpret utility maps, construction prints, and blueprints
• Locate and mark underground utilities using electronic locating equipment
• Coordinate daily activities and follow-ups with subcontractors and field crews
• Partner with field management and safety teams
• Support resolution of customer and homeowner issues
• Document findings through written reports and verbal updates

• Proven experience with underground fiber construction
• Wireline OSP construction experience required (wireless-only experience not considered)
• Construction Engineering background or equivalent hands-on field experience

• Telecommunications or utility construction/maintenance experience
• Experience inspecting underground utility installation and restoration
• Prior QC, inspection, or field coordination experience

• Underground fiber infrastructure
• Utility maps, construction prints, and blueprints
• Electronic detection and locating equipment
