SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER
Job Summary:
The Senior Construction Project Manager oversees large-scale construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule goals are met. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
- Prepare, review, and manage project budgets, contracts, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
- Monitor project progress, anticipate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments regularly.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and labor resources.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and field staff.
- Prepare and present project reports, schedules, and updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing large construction projects, preferably in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety standards.
- PMP or CCM certification preferred.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
