Purchasing​/Estimating Manager for Residential Construction

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing & Estimating Manager to join a growing multi-residential builder focused on apartments, townhomes, and build-to-rent communities. This role will lead purchasing operations, manage project budgets, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Manage purchasing and estimating for multiple residential communities
• Develop and maintain subcontractor and vendor relationships
• Solicit bids, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor contracts
• Establish and maintain project budgets and cost estimates
• Monitor costs and perform ongoing budget analysis
  
  Oversee purchasing systems and ensure accurate cost tracking
• Support new community setup including pricing, budgets, and vendor assignments
• Supervise purchasing staff and coordinate with construction and accounting teams

• 7+ years of experience in residential construction purchasing and estimating
• Experience with multifamily, build-to-rent, or production homebuilding projects
• Strong background in vendor management, budgeting, and cost control
• Experience with systems such as Build Pro, JD Edwards, BRIX, Home Front, or similar
• Advanced Excel and data management skills
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
