The Preconstruction Manag
er serves as the key representative of Southeast Concrete Systems during the early stages of a project, managing the daily operations of the Preconstruction and Estimating Department. This role is critical in ensuring seamless collaboration with Operations to deliver accurate estimates and effective planning across multiple projects. The Preconstruction Manager leads estimating efforts, coordinates with subcontractors and vendors, and maintains clear, professional communication with clients.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, keen attention to detail, and the ability to foster productive relationships with both internal teams and external partners.

• Manage day-to-day estimating and Preconstruction activities
• Lead a team in preparing accurate and competitive bids
• Attend and contribute to client and design meetings
• Identify and engage qualified subcontractors
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure a smooth project handoff
• Participate in proposal development and client presentations
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams

• Bachelor's in construction management or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of estimating, Project manager or Preconstruction experience in commercial construction
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership qualities and attention to detail
