Dailychallengesandgoals:

• Contributetotheestablishmentandmaintenanceoffavorablerelationshipswithcustomers,design team,subcontractors,suppliers,andinternalteams.
• Collaboratewithprojectmanagerstodevelopcomprehensiveprojectplans,schedules,and budgets.
• Monitorprojectprogress,identifyandaddresspotentialissuestomaintaindesiredtimelines/schedules.
• Implement,monitor,andassistinenforcementofqualitycontrolmeasurestoguaranteethehigheststandardsinconcreteconstruction.
• Support/leadtheforementhroughtheprojectsasneeded/required.
• Assisttheestimatingdepartmentwithtake-offsandestimates;reviewvendor/subcontractorquotes.
• Reviewprojectplans,specifications,and proposals.
• Assistinthedevelopmentofprojectobjectives.
• Preparematerialsanddocuments/documentation/layoutassistancetools,basedonplans/specificationsandprojectrequirements,foreachproject.
• Assistinestablishing,monitoring,and maintaining/updatingconstructionworkschedules.
• Assistprojectmanagementwithaccuratelyidentifyingquantifying,pricing,andprocessingchanges/proposedchangesinworkscope.
• Prepare/organize/maintain/makeavailablecontractdocumentstofieldoperationforces,foreachproject.
• Reviewcontractdrawings,specifications,submittals,andshopdrawingstoensurepropercoordinationandinstallation.

Whatdoyouneedtosucceedinthis Role?

• Bachelor of Science degree(B.S.)inCivil
  
  Engineering/Constructionfromfour-yearcollegeoruniversity.
• Proficiency with
  
  AutoCAD/IntelliCAD/Revit/Topcon Robotics.
• Solidorganizationalskills,includingmultitaskingandtimemanagementtomeetstrictdeadlines.
• Shouldbecompetentinhandlingsimultaneouslyoccurringtasks/smaller projects.
• Strongworkethic–willingtodowhatittakestogetthejobdone.
  
  Thispositionwillrequiremorethan
  40hoursperweek.
• Strictattentiontodetailwiththeabilitytorecognizediscrepancies.
• Knowledgeofprojectmanagement,scheduling,resourcemanagementandestimating.
• Excellentwrittenandoralcommunicationskills.
• Analyticalandmathematicalskills,quickthinking,andasolidunderstandingofthemainprinciplesofengineering,construction,and architecture.
• Experienceinreading/understandingstructural/architectural/civilcontractdrawings.
• Experienceinreading/understandingconcretework-relatedspecialtycontractor/vendorshopdrawings.
