Theidealcandidatewillberesponsibletosupporttheprojectmanagertocompleteconstructionprojectsbyplanning,organizing,andcontrollingallelementsoftheproject,withknowledgeaboutconcretemixdesigns,itscomponents,intendeduses,proceduresandsafetyregulations,workingsidebysidewiththeprojectmanager.
Dailychallengesandgoals:
- Reviewprojectplansandproposals.
- Assistinthedevelopmentofprojectobjectives.
- Identifyprojectresponsibilitiesbydeterminingthephasesandelementsoftheproject.
- Calculatetimeframesandsequencethestagesoftheproject.
- Assisttheestimatingdepartmentwithtake-offsandestimates.
- Review vendor/subcontractorquotes;interviewandassignpersonneltospecificphasesandelementsoftheproject.
- Reviewcontractdrawings,specifications,andshopdrawingstoensurepropercoordinationandinstallation.
- Preparematerialanddocumentationbasedontheplansforeachprojectandregulations.
- Preparestatusreportsandregularlymonitorsbudgets,crews,and schedules.
- Preparelineandgradeworkforbuildinglayoutandcontrolasrequired.
Whatdoyouneedtosucceedinthis Role?
- Bachelor of Science degree(B.S.)inCivil
Engineering/Constructionfromfour-yearcollegeoruniversity - 2+yearsofpreviousexperienceinConcreteconstructionindustry
- Strong Knowledge in Database management ,Sage,AutoCAD,IntelliCAD,Revit,Topcon Robotics,andMSOffice
Suite. - Solidorganizationalskillsincludingattentiontodetail,withtheabilitytorecognizediscrepancies.
- Knowledgeofprojectmanagement,scheduling,resourcemanagementandestimating.
