Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Location:
Alpharetta, Georgia, 30022
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 100% Onsite
Duration: 6 Months with strong potential for extension
Pay $46.00/hour on w2.
About the Role
We are looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support a client site in Hampton, GA. This role will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, identifying and addressing workplace hazards, supporting OSHA compliance, and ensuring employees follow site-specific safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an OSHA Competent Person for BMS installation activities, including low-voltage electrical subcontractor work.
- Identify existing and potential workplace hazards and take appropriate corrective action.
- Conduct or coordinate safety and health training when knowledge gaps are identified.
- Follow and enforce site-specific safety procedures, including:
- Electrical Safety
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Ladder Safety
- Working at Heights
- Incident and Near-Miss Reporting
- Support compliance with Schneider Electric safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain awareness of required safety training and certifications.
- Support workplace safety and hazard prevention activities.
Required Qualifications
- Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification, completed within the past 2 years.
- Ability to meet OSHA requirements for a Competent Person.
- Knowledge of workplace hazard identification and corrective actions.
- Ability to conduct or coordinate safety training.
- CPR/First Aid training or certification.
