Our Team is looking for a passionate, and engaging Team Engagement & Event Specialist. This role is responsible for supporting our Team Engagement & Events Lead in execution of all internal events to cultivate our culture and maximize team engagement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Assist in planning and executing all operational and logistical functions related to all corporate events including team building events, pep rallies, monthly and quarterly huddles, Deposco Games (team building, happy hours, charity), birthday celebrations, special holidays, off-site leadership development events and other internal events
- Identify new opportunities for team building and engagement to enhance our culture
- Assist in managing all aspects of meetings and events to be on time & on budget
- Collaborate with internal team to increase participation and presence at events
- Negotiate contracts and build relationships with outside vendors
- Align resources to support events’ execution, including communication, venues, speakers, equipment, photographers, food & drink, etc.
- Responsible for on-site event management and set up / tear down
- Develop post-event surveys, and analysis
- 1-4 years of event planning & management experience, preferably in a fun, fast-paced environment
- Passionate, high-energy style with a positive mindset
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- High level of professionalism and a strong ability to relate to people of all business levels
- Effective interpersonal communication style particularly with , executives, and senior level staff
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with little direction
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Cultural sensitivity while working across diverse, global teams
- Proven budget management
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with prior experience interacting with Executives, Sales and Marketing colleagues
- Flexibility to react quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including availability to support after-hours events
