Overview

Our client is hiring a Dispatcher to support daily scheduling, technician coordination, and real-time communication between customers and field teams. You will work closely with the Dispatch Service Manager to ensure smooth operations, accurate routing, and timely service delivery. This role is essential in maintaining efficiency, minimizing downtime, and keeping all service activities running on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily scheduling and assign service calls based on technician availability, skills, and location.
  • Support real-time dispatch adjustments and monitor active job progress.
  • Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job details, updates, and route changes.
  • Provide timely updates to customers regarding technician ETAs, delays, or service changes.
  • Maintain dispatch dashboards, update job notes, and ensure accurate records in the system.
  • Alert the Dispatch Service Manager to scheduling conflicts, delays, or urgent issues.
  • Help track and maintain KPIs related to dispatch performance (response times, routing efficiency, etc.).
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to support team productivity.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in service dispatch, scheduling, or customer coordination (plumbing/HVAC preferred).
  • Experience with service management software (e.g., Service Titan, Housecall Pro).
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organization skills.
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
