Position: Call Center Specialist I Direct Hire

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday
  • Rotating Saturdays (2–3 per month)
  • Hours:

    8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST

Pay: $20/hour

Work Type: Fully Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking detail-oriented and customer-focused Call Center Specialists with a background in banking or financial services to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a critical point of contact for customers, handling a high volume of calls related to account inquiries, transactions, and banking products.

The ideal candidate understands banking operations, compliance, and customer expectations within a financial institution. This role requires someone who can confidently navigate sensitive financial conversations, maintain accuracy, and consistently meet performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high-volume inbound/outbound calls (100+ calls per day)
  • Assist customers with banking-related inquiries (accounts, transactions, online banking, etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to banking regulations, privacy standards, and compliance policies
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining professionalism
  • Meet/exceed KPIs including call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
  • Accurately document interactions in internal systems
Required
  • 1+ year call center experience in a high-volume environment (100 calls/day preferred; 50+ considered)
  • Experience working with metrics/KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
  • Banking or financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Understanding of financial products, transactions, or account servicing
  • If no banking experience, strong retail/customer service background may be considered
