Job SummaryPosition provides company-wide support for training and development of programs. Provides administrative support for Training Department and its staff. Individual is required to acquire an in-depth knowledge of curriculum development in a corporate environment.
Job Requirements- Implement training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, HR training and more
- Provide administrative support for Training Department
- Assist employees with training, membership and certification request
- Work with various agencies, state and local government for in-house training approvals
- Conduct organization wide needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
- Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with matter experts regarding instructional design
- Monitor effectiveness and evaluate feedback of training
- Procure manuals, textbooks and other educational materials
- Required to lead cross functional teams as needed in training exercises
- Microsoft Suite
- Customer Service
- Extensive Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the Customer and gain their trust and respect
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to facilitate focus groups, usability sessions and subject matter expert interviews as well as identify and document key themes emerging from these activities
- Basic Project Management skills
- Strong communication abilities
- Proven work experience as a trainer, training facilitator or coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
- BS degree in Education, Training, HR or related field
- Problem solving – identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully
- Interpersonal Skills – maintain confidentiality, remain open to others’ ideas and exhibit willingness to try new things
- Written Communication – edit work for spelling and grammar, present numerical data effectively and read and interpret written information
- Planning/organizing – prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans
- Quality control – demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitor own work to ensure quality
- Adaptability – adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
- Dependability – consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance
