Georgia Pre-K Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher

Full‑Time | Academic Year.

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Georgia Pre‑K Lead Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of child development, classroom management, and curriculum implementation in alignment with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) and Georgia’s Pre‑K Program guidelines.

• Plan and implement daily instruction aligned with GELDS and Pre‑K requirements.
• Maintain a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Conduct developmental assessments and maintain student portfolios using WSS.
• Communicate regularly with families through conferences, updates, and classroom events.
• Collaborate with co‑teachers, administrators, and support staff.
• Support kindergarten readiness and early literacy, math, science, and social‑emotional development.
• Ensure compliance with all Georgia Pre‑K documentation and operational standards.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Valid Georgia Pre‑K Lead Teacher credential (DECAL‑approved).
• Experience with Work Sampling System Online (WSS) or similar assessment tools.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a Georgia DECAL criminal background check.

• Experience in STEM or project‑based learning environments.
• Familiarity with High Scope, Creative Curriculum, or similar.
