Position Overview

Arclin is seeking a Computer-Based Training (CBT) Developer to design, develop, and maintain engaging digital learning solutions that support manufacturing operations across our organization. This role works closely with subject matter experts, engineering teams, operations leaders, and safety professionals to transform technical information into effective, interactive training programs.

This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on employee development, safety performance, operational consistency, and workforce readiness across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement computer-based training modules for manufacturing processes, safety programs, equipment operation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, operations, and safety subject matter experts to gather information and ensure training accuracy.
  • Convert complex technical content into engaging, easy-to-understand digital learning experiences.
  • Develop multimedia assets, including graphics, animations, screen recordings, assessments, job aids, and voiceover scripts.
  • Create and maintain training templates, standards, and visual design guidelines to ensure consistency across learning materials.
  • Evaluate and update existing training programs to reflect process improvements, operational changes, and safety updates.
  • Manage and organize digital training content libraries and documentation.
  • Conduct quality reviews and testing to ensure training modules function properly across learning management systems and delivery platforms.
  • Track project timelines and manage multiple training development initiatives simultaneously.
  • Recommend improvements to training effectiveness, learner engagement, and content delivery methods.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Technical Communications, Multimedia Design, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Adult Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and developing digital learning content, training materials, or instructional programs.
  • Strong ability to simplify complex technical information and communicate it effectively.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.

Preferred

  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
  • Experience creating multimedia content, including video, graphics, animation, or interactive learning activities.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, operations, safety, or technical training environments.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
