Job Title:
Physical Substation Engineer
The Staff Electrical Engineer will be responsible for completing physical design tasks on various substation projects. They will collaborate with the project team throughout the design and construction phases, adjusting physical layouts and plans to meet budget requirements, design criteria, and client specifications. Candidates with experience in physical substation design are preferred.
Responsibilities- Complete physical design tasks for various substation projects.
- Collaborate with the project team during design and construction phases.
- Adjust physical layouts and plans to meet budget requirements and client specifications.
- Substation design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor software.
- Electrical engineering degree from an ABET accredited institution.
- 3-6 years of experience in physical design of substations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SEED software or WinIGS software.
- Any experience working within a 3D software.
- Basic knowledge of grounding and grilling.
- Beneficial experience in data center projects.
The work environment primarily consists of office-based tasks, with approximately 15% travel to sites. The role involves mentoring junior engineers. The company offers an ESOP Program and a large bonus structure, with potential for direct hire.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Alpharetta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $170000.00/hr.
