Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA to join their team. As a Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA, you will be part of the Documentation Support team supporting technical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA

Location: Alpharetta or Marietta, GA on site 5 days per week

What's the Job?

• Research and analyze requirements for new infrastructure environment builds.
• Create and maintain complex Visio flow diagrams illustrating transaction traffic patterns, network connectivity, and system components.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop documentation strategies and schedules.
• Work closely with technical SMEs and engineers to gather detailed technical build information.
• Author and publish comprehensive documentation for internal support teams and platform engineering.

What's Needed?

• Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English.
• Minimum of ten years experience producing technical documentation in systems/hardware and data center infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Word.
• Experience with HTML or XML authoring, and understanding of technical infrastructure concepts.
• Ability to work directly with highly technical SMEs and engineers, ask questions, and interpret complex technical information.
