Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA to join their team. As a Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA, you will be part of the Documentation Support team supporting technical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Infrastructure Technical Writer - GA
Location: Alpharetta or Marietta, GA on site 5 days per week
What's the Job?
- Research and analyze requirements for new infrastructure environment builds.
- Create and maintain complex Visio flow diagrams illustrating transaction traffic patterns, network connectivity, and system components.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop documentation strategies and schedules.
- Work closely with technical SMEs and engineers to gather detailed technical build information.
- Author and publish comprehensive documentation for internal support teams and platform engineering.
What's Needed?
- Four-year college degree, preferably in Computer Science or English.
- Minimum of ten years experience producing technical documentation in systems/hardware and data center infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio and Word.
- Experience with HTML or XML authoring, and understanding of technical infrastructure concepts.
- Ability to work directly with highly technical SMEs and engineers, ask questions, and interpret complex technical information.
