Position
Selectek is seeking a Structural Engineer for our partnering company in Alpharetta, Georgia. Candidates in this role will offer their expertise in engineering and the design of industrial bulk material handling projects.
Employment Type& Location
Contract-to-Direct;
Alpharetta, GA;
Expected Pay Range: $43.00–$57.00 per hour, based on certifications and experience;
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering
- 10+ years of engineering experience with industrial plate weldments, design with hollow structural tubes/pipes and/or moving structures such as offshore rigs, heavy construction cranes, stacker/reclaimers, or other similar heavy industrial equipment
- Proficiency in structural analysis software
- AutoCAD
- Eligibility to work in the United States;
Selectek cannot provide sponsorship or work visa documentation
- Perform 3D modeling and work with structural analysis software.
- Mixture of structural and mechanical design with an emphasis on structural steel.
- Prior experience performing this work for heavy industrial projects is mandatory, including plate weldments, design with hollow structural tubes/pipes and/or moving structures such as offshore rigs, heavy construction cranes, stacker/reclaimers.
