We have an opportunity for an Electrical Studies Engineer with a strong power systems studies background for Industrial projects. This role is responsible for leading and executing complex electrical engineering tasks across multiple projects with minimal supervision. This individual provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. This role ensures compliance with applicable codes and standards, delivers accurate and constructible design solutions, and contributes to the continuous improvement of departmental procedures and practices.
Key Responsibilities Power System Studies- NFPA 70
- NFPA 70E
- IEEE 1584
- IEEE 242
Apply advanced knowledge of standards in the preparation of designs, calculations, and documentation.
Technical Expertise- Specify medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment, such as switchgears, MCCs, motor starters, drives, and transformers.
- Guide design teams to ensure solutions are safe, cost-effective, maintainable, and constructible.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 3 plus years of applicable power systems studies
- Power systems analysis skills using ETAP or SKM
- Demonstrated expertise in power distribution systems, electrical safety, and equipment specification.
- Experience in developing & managing estimates, schedules, and budgets for engineering tasks
- EIT
- PE
