Work model, sponsorship, relocation:

Your responsibilities will include:

* Partnering with production staff, cross-functional teams and site leadership to identify and control significant environmental health and safety impacts of operations.

* Serving as an EHS representative on cross-functional projects, including new process and chemical introductions, capacity expansion, facility changes and new equipment introductions.

* Maintaining site EHS metrics, statistics and records to support compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

* Identifying hazardous workplace conditions and helping establish guidelines for compliance, risk reduction and injury prevention.

* Supporting management of the workers' compensation program and proactively reducing workplace injury frequency and severity rates.

* Conducting SDS and operational risk assessments to specify engineering controls and regulatory requirements.

* Conducting internal and external EHS compliance audits, self-assessments, safety surveys and inspections.

* Maintaining EHS programs and participating in new program implementation.

* Providing regulatory guidance for facility modifications, equipment specifications, installations and process improvements.

* Chairing or serving on EHS-related committees, task forces and cross-functional teams.

* Serving as the facility's hazardous materials and waste coordinator, including management of hazardous, nonregulated and biomedical waste streams.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS, including 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

* Working knowledge of local and federal EHS regulations and standards, including OSHA and EPA.

* Experience creating and managing EHS programs.

* Experience developing and leading EHS training.

* Knowledge of injury and incident prevention programs, including ergonomics, risk assessments and root cause analysis.

* Demonstrated proficiency leveraging AI-enabled EHS tools and enterprise information management.

* Ability to travel up to 10%.

Preferred qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, occupational health, safety or a related discipline.

* Minimum of 7 years' experience in EHS, including 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

* Certified EHS professional credentials, such as CSP, CIH or CHMM.

* Strong knowledge of local and federal EHS regulations and standards.

* Experience cultivating a safety culture and driving continuous improvement.

* Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, inside and outside the organization.

Maximum Salary: $ 161500

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see  vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.

At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
