As part of a design team, you will design and develop moderately complex electrical projects for release to production in a manner which ensures superior performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability to the worldwide marketplace.
What You Will Do- Generate drawing packages in AutoCAD Electrical consisting of front elevations, floor plan layouts, control overviews, and communications plans.
- Interpret customer drawings and internal quoting documents to develop switch gear drawings.
Data Gathering & Analysis:
Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
- Describes alternative data‑gathering techniques and tools.
- Documents basic data‑gathering methodologies.
- Identifies key details in reviewing customer drawings and specifications.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Explains characteristics and steps in designing solutions for customers.
- Identifies issues and communicates with others when a decision needs to be made.
- Define the critical information in AutoCAD blocks to capture design requirements and create the associations needed for accurate wiring and assembly drawings.

- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or equivalent experience.
