Building Automation Project Manager

- Manages resources by planning, scheduling and forecasting manpower and resource requirements
- Coordinates project in accordance with contract documents and approved sales estimate
- Manages all document control for projects, including RFI's, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal log, submittal log, change order log and issues log
- Prepares project billing revenue forecasts and schedules of values
- Review all estimates and change orders for accuracy and approve all team project submittals
- Accountable for financial management on all assigned projects
- Prepares installation subcontractor bidding documents and negotiates subcontracts
- Obtain, organize, and maintain all project contract documents in accordance with Schneider Electric quality policy
- Prepares and updates project schedule and cost estimates
- Prepares and delivers final project documentation to the customer and collect payment
- Responsible for all customer-facing communication
- At least 3 years in a Project Management Role and 5+ years in the controls industry
- Strong customer service skills, understanding of contracting procedures and tactics related to project correspondence, documentation, timely notice of claims, subcontract negotiation and subcontract administration
- Advanced understanding of HVAC control systems and ability to analyze control system drawings and schematics, as well as knowledge of contract law, codes, standards and industry construction knowledge
- Strong leadership skills, including team leading and ability to empower others through delegating responsibility

This position will report to the Operations Manager
This position does not offer sponsorship for work permit applications or renewals. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 117,600 - USD 176,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
