- Handleand develop Engineering and Project Management staff; provide theexpertiseto support a diverse group of technical professionals
- Provide technical leadership and direction on complex technology implementations and startups, including equipment life cycle and required enablement
- Direct the implementation of new equipment and technology, including infrastructure, installation,commissioning and startup readiness
- Provide program management leadership with leading-edge technology vendors
- Manage the documentation and procedures to successfully launchnew technology and allow for a transition to a sustainable operation
- Research expenses and assess correlations with earlier cost and future price direction
- Handle schedules, equipment build and delivery, coordination with vendor teams, continuous improvement and innovation with startups, operationalimprovementsand technology features
- Lead and mentor engineering and technical professionals in all aspects of their areas of responsibility
At a minimum,you’llneed:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 7 years of engineering and leadership experience
- Leanmethodologyand AutoCAD experience
- Experience directing root cause analysis activities, supporting process development and documentation
It’dbe great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, or master’s degree
- Availability to travel domestically up to 75% of the time
- 7 years of engineering project management leadership experience, including field expertise
- 10 years of engineering leadership or operational experience in a manufacturing,distributionor warehousing environment
- The ability toidentifyand specify the use of automationwherejustified
- Solid interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to partner with each department and facility to streamline, improve and sustain processes with a primary focus on safety, quality,delivery and cost
- The ability to execute continuous improvement and Lean strategies by translating businessobjectivesinto actionable projects; willing to communicate and share best practices throughout the organization
