This is project based work located near Covington, GA. Candidates must be willing work in Covington, GA on full-time basis for an extended period of time. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world's leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Control System Integration Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

Summary

The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and testing of the control systems used in the data center. This includes monitoring and controlling HVAC systems, power systems, lighting, and other building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The technician will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure that all systems are installed functioning efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning:
    Install, test, and commission control systems including HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems. Ensure all control systems are properly configured and calibrated to meet operational requirements.
  • Monitoring and Optimization:
    Monitor control systems to ensure they are operating efficiently. Adjust system parameters and programming to optimize performance and energy efficiency. Respond to alarms and alerts, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain detailed records of all relevant system configurations, parameters and changes. Generate reports on system performance, energy usage, and other activities.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and facility staff to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operation. Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    Ensure all control systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
