We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Collections Specialist to manage a high‑volume portfolio (30M+), work directly with strategic accounts, and drive best‑in‑class receivables performance within a Fortune 500 environment. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability, exceptional communication skills, and hands‑on experience with large‑scale B2B collections.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a $30M+ commercial collections portfolio with a focus on aging resolution and cash acceleration.
- Conduct phone‑based collection outreach to assigned B2B customers; track and report daily call activity.
- Perform account reconciliations
, evaluate discrepancies, and collaborate cross‑functionally to identify root causes. - Review historical account performance to prioritize collection efforts and accelerate risks where necessary.
- Partner with internal teams (Billing, Cash Apps, Sales, and Leadership) to resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction using data‑driven insights.
- Support month‑end reporting, cash forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
- 5+ years of B2B commercial collections experience within a large corporate or Fortune 500 environment.
- Proven experience handling high‑volume strategic accounts and large portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
, or equivalent professional experience. - Strong reconciliation background with the ability to resolve complex account issues.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
, including:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud
- Proven success improving processes or reducing DSO within large organizations
