Description

Senior Advisor or Advisor support role focusing on maintaining biblical client relationships and developing customized financial plans. Also provides team leadership, training, and subject matter expertise for overall client service and company projects.

Position Overview
  • Support (Sr.) Advisors by maintaining biblical client relationships and obtaining, analyzing, and coordinating complex financial information to develop customized, integrated financial plans consistent with client needs.
  • Provide team leadership, assist in training and developing team members, and act as a subject matter expert to support teammates’ and advisors’ client service efforts alongside broader company-wide projects and initiatives.
Principal Accountabilities
  • Prepare customized financial plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provide excellent service and technical support in the financial planning process.
  • Develop high quality, accurate, and professional reports and presentations that integrate Biblical principles.
  • Manage ongoing coordination of client affairs, transitioning day‑to‑day responsibility from Advisor to Associate Advisor.
  • Assess gifting opportunities of cash, securities, or other property.
  • Conduct tax planning, including withholding settings, quarterly tax payments, bonus payments, and stock option planning.
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge in cash flow planning, tax and charitable gift planning, education funding, debt management, retirement, insurance, and estate planning.
  • Initiate and implement investment transactions using the company’s trading software.
  • Perform investment management tasks such as tax loss harvesting, account rebalancing, account review, and Quarterly Investment Report (QIR) generation.
  • Prepare for and support (Sr.) Advisor or Division Director with client meetings, including ensuring all materials are ready, recording key takeaways, and sending follow‑up correspondence.
  • Respond to client and outside vendor inquiries and manage multiple priorities.
  • Grow professional skillset through additional designations, training, and biblical financial principles.
  • Practice work and relationships in alignment with the Company’s Core Values.
  • Provide training and support for Financial Planners within the Family Office Division and across the Company.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, participate in special committees, and share best practices.
  • Maintain computer literacy, using eMoney, Salesforce (CRM), Orion, etc.
  • Demonstrate an ability to create and seize business development opportunities.
  • Identify potential referral sources, network, and represent the Company professionally.
  • Understand client or prospect needs and communicate how the Company can help.
  • Provide excellent service under the guidance of the (Sr.) Advisor.
  • Adapt communication style to team members and clients.
  • Focus on client service and business development via biblical servant leadership.
  • Maintain highest compliance standards, adhering to HR guidelines, compliance policies, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of the Bible, especially scriptural references to money and finances, and ability to integrate this into client counsel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven decision making and discernment.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve clients with excellence.
  • Self‑starter, strong multitasker capable of juggling priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of industry terminology, products, vehicles, and regulatory environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and industry‑specific software.
  • Personal integrity and discretion with confidential data.
  • Support Company’s policies, core values, and organizational goals in daily activities.
Education, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; finance, financial planning, economics, accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2–5 years in the Financial Planner role, demonstrating leadership and excellence.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
  • Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) or other applicable designations strongly preferred.
  • Additional credentials such as MBA or CPA are a plus.
