Job Summary

Private Bank Service Specialist III, part of Huntington Private Bank, is responsible for day‑to‑day activities and interactions between clients and Huntington Bank, including establishment of documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. The Specialist partners with one or more Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to high‑net‑worth clients. The role maintains detailed product knowledge to provide Service Excellence and focuses on risk identification, assessment, and management while adhering to policies and procedures.

Service coverage spans Private Banking, Trust, and Investment Management.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists with or leads special projects as requested by management and partners; assists in training new and existing service specialists.
  • Acts as a key resource and mentor for other Service Specialists across the footprint.
  • Helps resolve complex support issues within the Region.
  • Responsible for risk identification, assessment, and management, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Participates in identifying issues of concern and keeps department management informed as needed.
  • Provides administrative support for one or more high‑end advisors and manages day‑to‑day activities between clients and Huntington, including documentation and servicing of the relationship.
  • Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and disbursing funds as appropriate.
  • Identifies, researches, analyzes, and resolves complex problems with accounts.
  • Makes routine decisions in the absence of an officer.
  • Advises and counsels clients on bank products and services.
  • Assists Advisors by processing and maintaining accurate documentation; may attend meetings and presentations independently or with an officer.
  • Compiles information from various sources to prepare reports.
  • Communicates information through memos and correspondence to clients, officers, attorneys, agencies, and others; maintains up‑to‑date knowledge and may train others on products and services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services.
  • Notary public.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service; highly motivated, focused, and goal oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow‑up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Works independently.
  • Administrative experience within the financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Huntington applications.
  • Exempt Status:
    Yes = not eligible for overtime pay;
    No = eligible for overtime pay.
