Job Title:
Loan Operations & Accounting Associate (Hard Money Lending)
Duration - 6 months (Part Time)
Location - Remote

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional with an accounting background to support a growing residential lending business focused on real estate investors. This role will begin as part-time and transition into a full-time position, with the opportunity to grow into a lead role

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loan processing and operations for residential real estate investor loans
• Support pre-closing activities (preferred), including documentation review and coordination
• Collaborate with closing attorneys to ensure timely and accurate loan closings
• Maintain financial records and assist with accounting-related tasks
• Help facilitate fast approval and funding of short-term, high-cost (hard money) loans
• Provide operational and administrative support to the existing accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• Experience in hard money lending or real estate lending (preferred)
• Familiarity with loan lifecycle processes, especially pre-closing activities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Comfortable working in a support role with no direct client interaction

Work Structure:

• Part-time initially, with clear path to full-time
• Training provided (virtual)
