Job Description
The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of HR functions, with a strong emphasis on managing relationships with staffing agencies, recruitment, employee relations, onboarding and offboarding. This role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can contribute to various aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Manage recruitment activities for operational and mid-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Work with staffing agencies to fill temporary staffing needs.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants and candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for permanent and temporary employees.
- Enroll new employees in ADP and the time and attendance system, and assist in resolving system discrepancies.
- Prepare Personnel Action Forms (PAF) for new hires, salary adjustments, and special cases, and submit them for approval by the high-level management.
- Support employee relations matters by providing guidance to employees and managers and assisting with workplace issue resolution.
- Handle employee inquiries and concerns, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate parties as needed.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding company compensation and benefits programs.
- Respond to employee questions related to pay, benefits, and HR policies.
- Update and maintain employee leave balances to ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with attorney on all immigration related case.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to build trust, foster positive working relationships, address employee concerns, and support conflict resolution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment and employee relations required.
