Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Vertex AI Platform Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Alpharetta, GA
. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Vertex AI, Python, Kubernetes, and cloud monitoring tools, with a proactive approach to platform reliability and performance.
Rate Range: $60.60/hour to $64.39/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Maintain and optimize the operational stability of the Vertex AI environment.
- Monitor health and performance of Vertex AI services including notebooks, pipelines, endpoints, and managed instances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve scheduling, testing, and configuration issues.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement automated deployment and testing processes.
- Configure and integrate new Vertex AI features, including GenAI.
- Triage and resolve support tickets and perform root cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain documentation for incident resolution procedures.
- Investigate and address performance bottlenecks and implement monitoring/alerting systems.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Vertex AI and its components.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with LLMs and anomaly detection techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and scripting languages.
- Experience with cloud monitoring tools like Stackdriver.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, PyTorch).

Pay Details: $60.60 to $64.39 per hour
