Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
About the Role:
We’re seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level data solutions that drive business performance and strategic decision-making. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights by building robust data models, intuitive dashboards, and scalable reporting systems.
This role is perfect for someone who combines deep technical expertise in BI tools with a strong business mindset and someone who can translate complex data into clear, impactful stories that influence executives and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets to support analytics initiatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, data governance practices, and reporting standards.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data models to support self-service analytics.
- Collaborate with business units (Finance, Sales, Operations) to understand data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for data discrepancies and performance issues.
- Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to data architecture best practices.
- 5+ years of experience in BI development or data engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL).
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining enterprise BI solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments.
- Experience with Salesforce data integration or CRM analytics.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other ETL tools.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Exposure to scripting languages like Python or R for data transformation.
