GCP Architect

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that align with business needs and adhere to industry best practices. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based applications and infrastructure deployments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in GCP services, infrastructure as code, security, CI/CD, and performance tuning.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures using GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Big Query, Cloud Functions, etc.)
• Develop cloud-native and hybrid solutions ensuring high availability and disaster recovery
• Integrate cloud solutions into development, Dev Ops, and security workflows
• Implement GCP security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC
  2)
• Automate provisioning and management using IaC tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud-related issues
• Monitor cloud workloads and recommend optimization strategies for performance and cost
• Lead migration and modernization efforts for legacy applications (rehosting, re-platforming, refactoring)
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define architecture strategy and roadmaps

• 5+ years of experience in GCP Cloud Architecture & Design
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services including networking and security
• 5+ years of experience in cloud-native solution development
• 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Deployment Manager
• 5+ years of experience in Security & Compliance implementation in cloud environments
• 5+ years of experience with migration & modernization of legacy systems
• 3+ years of experience in Performance Optimization and cost efficiency
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and Dev Ops best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect (or equivalent certification)
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Familiarity with big data, analytics, and machine learning services on GCP
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
• Experience with cloud cost management tools

Google Cloud Certified Professional Architect (preferred)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
