Job Description:Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility includes obtaining price quotations and bid forms, as well as negotiating terms with vendors to align with market value.
- Primary vendor manager to ensure correct vendor deliveries based on the signed contract.
- Lead kickoff and regular order status meetings while keeping stakeholders appraised. Escalate as necessary if vendor delivery timelines are at risk.
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of vendor test results.
- Coordinate the patching request with the partner teams to ensure enough patch cord.
- Coordinate the schedule of the E2E testing and update the system records.
- At least 3 years of experience in the Telecommunication industry as a project manager/coordinator with technical experience in fiber optics technology.
- Experience and working knowledge on OSI Layer 1 (Physical) and 2 (Datalink) troubleshooting (WAN point to point connection).
- Familiarity with network path elements in data centers such as router ports, patch panels, DWDM and other transport equipment.
- Experience in working with internal groups (Project Managers, Provisioners, Field Force, etc.).
- Capable of managing high pressure and short timelines, with the willingness to be flexible.
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and adapt to changing projects and processes.
