The opportunityEY’s Service Delivery Center continues to expand its Service Now capabilities to meet growing demand across the firm and our clients. As a Senior Service Now Developer, you’ll play a key role in shaping platform architecture, leading complex implementations, and influencing how Service Now is used ’ll work alongside technologists and consulting teams to deliver secure, high‑quality solutions while mentoring others and setting development standards.
Yourkey responsibilities
- Designing and delivering Service Now solutions across multiple modules, such as IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Integrated Risk Management, Security Operations, HR Service Delivery, and Customer Service Management
- Developing custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using JavaScript and Glide
- Owning platform architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with Service Now best practices
- Designing and implementing integrations between Service Now and third‑party enterprise systems using REST and SOAP
- Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Acting as a Service Now subject matter expert by supporting complex issues, mentoring team members, and promoting platform standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- Five or more years of hands‑on Service Now development experience in large or complex enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in Service Now platform architecture and core development components, including business rules, client scripts, workflows, and UI policies
- Proven experience integrating Service Now with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience delivering Service Now solutions aligned to industry‑specific requirements
- Exposure to advanced Service Now modules such as ITOM, SPM, IRM, or Security Operations
- Experience supporting AI‑enabled solutions or integrations, such as conversational or automation capabilities
The following certifications are required or strongly preferred for this role:
Required- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules (for example, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, or IRM)
- Additional Service Now mainline or advanced certifications

What we offer you- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300.
