Systems Analyst, Data Engineer
About the role
As an Integration Architect, you will make an impact by designing and delivering scalable integration solutions across complex enterprise ecosystems, specializing in MFT and EDI platforms. You will be a valued member of the Integration & Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with solution architects, delivery teams, client stakeholders, and cross‑functional technology partners.
In this role, you will:- Design and implement end‑to‑end integration solutions using IBM ITX/WTX across enterprise systems
- Manage and optimize Managed File Transfer (MFT) workflows across multi‑platform environments
- Develop and test REST APIs using tools such as Postman to enable seamless system integrations
- Lead EDI (ANSI X12) integration and transformation initiatives across business ecosystems
- Ensure reliability, performance, and production stability of integrations within Unix/Linux environments
- 12+ years of hands‑on experience with IBM ITX/WTX (primary skill)
- 14+ years of experience in MFT integration across multi‑platform environments
- Strong expertise in EDI (ANSI X12) transactions and integrations (8+ years)
- Extensive experience working with JSON, XML, and IDOC data formats (10+ years)
- Proficiency in REST API development and testing using Postman (6+ years)
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments for integration support (5+ years)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production integration issues
- Domain expertise in Logistics and Supply Chain ecosystems
- Experience with Order Management and Warehouse Management systems
- Understanding of invoicing and financial transaction processes
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
- Exposure to large‑scale enterprise integration programs
On site in Alpharetta, GA. This role requires 5 days a week onsite at a client office in Alpharetta, GA.
Salary and Other CompensationThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
